Broad-billed Sandpiper Limicola falcinellus
A rare visitor to the UK. In the past the majority of records were of spring adults in May, with Breydon Water in Norfolk amassing a remarkable lion's share of the records; autumn juveniles have always been much rarer. However in recent years spring records have diminished sharply and this has become a much less regular visitor to our shores.
The juvenile shown below first appeared at Salthouse before moving on to Titchwell a few days later.
