Grey Plover (Black-bellied Plover) Pluvialis squatarola
A common winter visitor and passage migrant along the coast of Norfolk but much rarer inland. No distinct races are recognised but there is some clinal variation in measurements, especially bill size. In North America the species is better known as Black-bellied Plover.
