Red-throated Diver (Red-throated Loon) Gavia stellata

The commonest Diver by far round here (Norfolk). Most are at sea but oiled and other sick birds are sometimes found on freshwater pools, although usually still at coastal locations (like the Snettisham and Kelling birds below).
