The majority of White-fronted Geese wintering in Norfolk belong to the Eurasian form albifrons. However any bird found away from the main wintering areas and among the feeding flocks of Pink-footed Geese should be checked carefully as a significant proportion of such birds belong to the much scarcer form, Greenland White-fronted Goose A (a) flavirostris.
